Early Access Terms

Welcome to the BubSync Early Access Programme. By accepting these terms, you agree to participate as a beta tester under the conditions set out below. These terms are in addition to — and do not replace — our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, both of which continue to apply in full.

1. As-is product

BubSync Early Access is a pre-release version of the app provided to you at no charge for testing and feedback purposes. The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. You may encounter bugs, incomplete features, unexpected behaviour, or periods of downtime. We will do our best to address issues promptly, but we cannot guarantee availability or accuracy of any feature during the early access period.

2. No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BubSync and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of the early access version, including (without limitation) data loss, service interruptions, inaccurate outputs, or any reliance placed on information provided by the app. Your participation is voluntary and entirely at your own risk.

3. No medical advice

BubSync does not provide medical advice.The app is a tool for logging and tracking baby care activities and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Nothing in the app — including activity logs, growth charts, insights, or any other feature — should be interpreted as medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for questions about your child's health, development, or wellbeing.

4. Data handling

Your use of BubSync Early Access is subject to our Privacy Policy. In summary:

  • We collect the personal and activity data you enter into the app (baby names, activity logs, growth data, and account information) solely to provide the Service.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from usage to improve the app and develop population-level insights. This data will not identify you, your baby, or your family.
  • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.

By participating in Early Access, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

5. Confidentiality

As an early access tester, you may see features, designs, and functionality that have not yet been publicly announced. You agree to keep all such information confidential unless express written consent is provided by BubSync. Specifically, without such consent, you must not:

  • Share screenshots, recordings, or descriptions of unreleased features publicly.
  • Publish reviews, blog posts, or social media content about the early access version.
  • Share your early access credentials with anyone else.

This confidentiality obligation does not prevent you from sharing feedback directly with BubSync through official feedback channels, and BubSync may from time to time request your consent to use your feedback or experience for promotional purposes.

6. Feedback

We actively encourage and rely on your feedback to improve BubSync. By submitting feedback — through the in-app feedback tool, email, or any other channel — you grant BubSync a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate your feedback into the Service or related products, without any obligation of attribution or compensation to you.

7. Changes and termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Early Access Programme or any feature within it at any time, with or without notice. Individual early access may be revoked if you breach these terms, misuse the app, or if we need to adjust the size or composition of the testing group. Upon revocation, your access to premium features provided under Early Access will end.

Features available during Early Access may change, be removed, or behave differently in the general release version.

8. Our full terms and privacy policy

These Early Access Terms are supplementary to our standard policies and do not limit or override them. The following documents continue to apply in full:

If there is any conflict between these Early Access Terms and our standard Terms of Service, the standard Terms of Service shall prevail.
